Before or after configuring an ODL application, use MSG-IDE to create the project for this acquisition or delivery AIM. The resulting project file is referenced in the ODL configuration file generated by the Configurator. See the e-Biz Impact MSG-IDE Guide for more detailed information on using MSG-IDE.
All applications run as a single-process thread running in a controller. A controller can contain multiple applications, as well as multiple instances of one application, but each application is single-process thread.
To add and configure an ODL application:
Start the Configurator and load the cluster for which you want to add and configure applications. See “Creating and configuring applications”.
Expand the Controllers node in the tree view.
Right-click the Controller for which you want to create an application. Select New | ODL. The new ODL, named ODL1, appears below the selected controller and in the right pane.
Double-click ODL1 in the right pane or right-click ODL1 in the tree view and select Properties. The ODL Properties window appears.
