The Enhanced Full-Text Search product supports Sybase Failover. If an Adaptive Server fails, the Enhanced Full-Text Search accepts connections from the companion server. Additionally, if the Adaptive Server has proxy database support enabled, then both the primary and companion servers can use the Enhanced Full-Text Search at the same time.
