number of checkpoint tasks configures parallel checkpoints. The value of number of checkpoint tasks must be less than or equal to the value of number of engines at startup. The maximum value is limited by the value of the configuration parameters number of engines online at startup and number of open databases, with an absolute ceiling of 8. The default value is 1, which implies serial checkpoints is the default behavior.
