You can configure Adaptive Server to deliver messages in a language other than english. You can install messages for non-english languages and set the default language using the Server Config utility. Follow instructions in “Changing the default character set and sort order” to launch Server Config.
Client programs may require messages to be delivered in their preferred language, rather than the default for the Adaptive Server. In such cases, run sp_modifylogin to specify the preferred language. The language chosen must first by installed by the System Administrator using the Server Config utility.
