The SySAM network license server

Note the following information about the SySAM network license server:

The SySAM Network license server cannot be started until there is at least one “Served” license copied into the licenses directory. Obtain a served license from SPDC before starting the license server.
There can be only one SySAM network license server running on a single machine. If you want to install the new license server on a machine that is already running a SySAM 1.0 license server, you must shut down the old license server and migrate the SySAM 1.0 licenses to SySAM 2.0. See the Configuration Guide for information about migrating the licenses.
