Adaptive Server Enterprise 15.0 includes new versions of the many supporting components. The most current version of other Sybase products (for example, Replication Server® 12.6 or Enterprise Connect™ Data Access 12.6) contain earlier versions of those same components. Installing Adaptive Server version 15.0 into the same directory with existing products should not impact the existing products. However, installing other products on top of Adaptive Server version 15.0 may result in one or more products not working correctly.
Sybase strongly recommends that you install Adaptive Server version 15.0 into its own directory. Where this is not practical and you must install other products, install Adaptive Server version 15.0 last.
