SQL Remote was originally developed to provide bi-directional synchronization between Adaptive Server Anywhere and Adaptive Server Enterprise databases. It has been replaced with a more flexible and powerful technology called MobiLink that provides bi-directional synchronization between ASA/UltraLite clients and various back-end databases including Adaptive Server.
