TIBCO Transport Problems

The following error messages are written to the <server_install_directory>\instances\<instance name>\runtime directory\NNSYMessageLog.nml file.

The engine, psput, or psget generate an error referencing libtibrv.so

Error Message

'libtibrv.so' of '<path to executable>' was not found.

For example, 'libtibrv.so' of '/usr/u/tims/io43svr_pseudoimage_44/bin/.bin/psput' was not found.

Resolution

This error occurs when the tib/bin directory is not properly set during the installation of the TIBCO messaging application.

Edit your UNIX profile to add the <tibco installation directory>/tib/bin to the system classpath.

The system classpath for the Windows platform should be automatically set, however, if this is not set you can edit the system classpath on Windows accordingly.
