Showing Context References

From the Business Process Editor and Business Process Browser, you can view how context variables are referenced in your project. You can also drill down directly to the activity or resource that references that context variable. Also, use this feature to confirm that it is safe to delete or modify a context variable.

To view context references:

  1. In the Business Process Editor, right-click and select Define Context from the shortcut menu.
The Context Variable List dialog box opens.

Note: Before continuing with this procedure, move the dialog box so that it does not obscure the view of your business process.

  1. Select the variable for which you want to view the usage, and click References.
The References to ContextVariable list box display the activities that use this context variable.

  2. To go to the activity in the Business Process Editor, click the activity name.

  3. Click Close to return to the Context Variable List.

  4. Click OK to return to the Business Process Editor.
