You can export and reuse the bindings used by a package. The information in the exported file can be reused as saved or modified.
Prerequisite: Exporting Package Bindings
To reuse package bindings:
1. Save
the current bindings of the desired package to a file.
You can export package bindings, archive
the file, or send it by email, shared folders, or other file transfer
mechanism.
2. You may reuse the file as saved or customize the binding information to suit a particular deployment of the corresponding package. See example package bindings XML file.
3. Transfer
the bindings file to the server hosting the Unwired Orchestrator server.
The method used for the transfer depends on your organization's network
configuration and security policies.
4. Use
clagent to deploy the desired package.
The bindings file is specified using the --binding option of the deploy_instance
command. See Working with Agent
Server Instances from the Command Line.
NOTE: As described in example package bindings XML file, you can select new endpoints. Those endpoints must be defined in Directory Services for deployment to successfully complete and for the runtime instance to start.
