Probes that are designed in the business process write a metadata file to a BTIE (BizTracker Import Export) file in the \<server_install_directory>\btie directory. The file uses the following naming convention:
\<server_install_directory>\btie\btie_<agent name>_<instance name>.dat
The information in this file contains the configuration required by Sybase BizTracker.
To monitor probe information, use the BTIE command line interface and import the .dat file into BizTracker. Restart BizTracker to enable the viewing of the monitored data. The probe information monitored at runtime is placed on the BizTracker Transport where it is picked up by BizTracker. Refer to the BizTracker documentation for additional information.
Note: The configuration for BizTracker and Unwired Orchestrator must use the same transport to put and get monitored runtime data. This means that the BizTracker Transport, configured in Unwired Orchestrator and Audit transport, configured in BizTracker, must be the same physical transport.
See Probes for information on including probes in business process design.
