The Service Interaction Editor extracts a schema for a specific operation. You can change the operation the service interaction will invoke and extract input and output schema for the interaction. Before a service can be used in a business process, you must extract the schema from the WSDL file and save it in the Schema folder in the Orchestration Navigator. Those WSDLs that do not have an associated extracted schema in XSD format cannot be used in Unwired Orchestrator.
To access the Service Interaction Editor:
From the Orchestration Navigator, select the .iface file using one of the following methods:
Double-click on the .iface file or
Right-click and select Open With>Service Interaction Editor.
Open the .iface file and extract the schema that is to be used for this project.
Note: The Schema Reference Resolver Wizard now allows the selection of a WSDL (Service Definition) file from the file system, Unwired Orchestrator project, or URL in addition to Schema. If a WSDL file is chosen, a dialog appears showing the Schema embedded in that WSDL. The appropriate reference target can then be chosen and saved into the project as usual. This new capability allows Service Interactions to work with operations defined by multiple, referencing schema within a WSDL. Simply extract the schema, then use the Schema Resolver Wizard to resolve the links.
The Service Interaction Editor has the following unique features, which are available in the Service Interaction Editor.
When you save from within the Service Interaction Editor, the graphical state persists so you do not have to adjust the presentation each time you access the editor.
When you right-click on the Service Interaction Editor canvas, the graphical depiction returns to the default choice.
When you click on the tab, right-click, and click Layout on the canvas, the graphical presentation readjusts to the size of the canvas.
