You may want to re-use a configuration for an endpoint. For example, you could create a number of variations of one endpoint configuration by copying, pasting, and then making changes to the copy. You must individually copy each endpoint configuration.
To copy and paste an endpoint configuration:
Right-click on the endpoint configuration to copy.
Click Copy.
The endpoint configuration name, description, and configuration data
are transferred to the clipboard.
Right-click on the category in which the endpoint configuration will be stored.
Click Paste.
By default, the system adds a number at the end of the name of the
copy of the endpoint configuration to avoid duplication of file names.
You must paste the copy into the same category as the one from which
it was copied.
Make changes to the
endpoint configuration.
This can include renaming if you prefer a different name than the automatically
generated name.
Note: You can paste the copied endpoint configuration information into a text editor so that you can see the configuration data that is associated with the endpoint.
