If database services are present in the delivered package, the runtime instance properties contain additional database connection pool parameters that can be modified. You can modify the default values for these database connection pool paramter configuration properties.
In the Server Explorer, verify that the runtime instance is connected.
The service machine should indicate (connected). If it does not, click the expand symbol next to the runtime instance to connect to it.
Right-click the instance in the Server Explorer view and select Properties.
Expand the Resources folder in the tree structure.
Note: The properties for a database connection do not appear in the Resources tab until the service endpoints are bound and the bindings are saved. See Binding Service Endpoints.
Expand the Database Connection Pool folder.
Click OK to save and close the window, or scroll down to the resource and endpoint properties to complete the configuration of a delivered package.
Tip: For any properties
that you click to select a value, you can change the selection by clicking
on the new value. The value changes to the newly selected value.
You may want to deselect a property value without defining a new one. To
deselect, versus change, the property value press CTRL and click on the
selected value in the list. This deselects the property value.
