The components of a Replication Server Option, their EBFs, and Replication Server must be installed in a common Sybase directory that does not have an existing Sybase product installed with a version later than 12.5.
Installing Replication Agent 12.5 into a directory that
contains a newer version (later than 12.5) of a Sybase product will
not properly update the license file. Thus, even when you register
your RSO license, the RSO components will not be licensed.
The components must be installed in the following order:
Replication Agent 12.5 must always be installed and it must be installed as the first component
ECDA 12.6.1
ASE 12.5.4 (for the RSSD)
