[Bug #239685] Adaptive Server version 12.5 fails when executing a server-to-server remote procedure call (RPC) against an earlier version of Adaptive Server if the remote server predates a fix made under CR #210796.
Workaround: To execute an RPC successfully from a version 12.5 Adaptive Server, your remote Adaptive Server must be one of the following:
12.5.x
12.0.x
11.9.2.2 or later within this release
11.5.1.1 or later within this release
11.0.3.4 or later within this release
