Eliminates the need to set up TCP ports for inter-controller communication.
Renders obsolete the distinction of local versus remote controllers.
Allows DFC server applications to be monitored.
Existing clusters created with e-Biz Impact version 5.4 or the version 5.4.2 EBF must be upgraded using the e-Biz Impact 5.5 Configurator.
