If you open an existing PocketBuilder 2.0.x or 2.1 target in the PocketBuilder 2.5 IDE, PocketBuilder prompts you to migrate the application unless you previously selected the No Prompting check box in the Targets to be Migrated dialog box. If you selected this check box, the migration is performed automatically.
After migration, you can freely use an application in the PocketBuilder 2.5 environment that was built in an earlier version of PocketBuilder. However, it is recommended that you copy a target before you migrate it. Earlier versions of PocketBuilder can coexist with PocketBuilder 2.5 on the same machine.
