Use the following worksheet to identify information that you should designate and record prior to installing DirectConnect for DB2 UDB. You are prompted for this information during installation.
Much of the DirectConnect for DB2 UDB installation process is accomplished when you configure the DRDA data sources to set up connectivity, and create and bind packages to the DRDA system. You use a text editor to define DSNs in the odbc.ini file.
Be sure to have the IP address of the machine on which
you are installing DirectConnect for DB2 UDB.
