To set up connectivity to the target
From your control panel, access your ODBC Administrator.
Enter information in the fields that can affect performance and resource use. For more information, see vendor documentation for your ODBC driver.
Refer to vendor documentation for testing connections or use the odbc tool that is described in Chapter 10, “Troubleshooting.” The Sybase odbc tool verifies that your system is configured correctly by attempting to make a simple connection to the target.
