DirectConnect Directory Name: Record the %SYBASE_ECON% and %SYBASE_OCS% home directory for DirectConnect for Oracle (sets to DCO-12_6 and OCS-12_5). |

DirectConnect Server Name: Name of the DirectConnect server you want to create or update. |
PORT NUMBER: |
DirectConnect Port Number: Name of the DirectConnect port number you are using. |
DCO ADMIN ACCOUNT NAME: |
DCO Admin Account Name: The name of a valid Oracle account that can be used to administer DirectConnect for Oracle. It is usually the system account name. |
ORACLE PASSWORD FOR DCO ADMIN ACCT: |
Password for DCO account: The Oracle password for the DCO administrative account. This password is not written into any configuration file, but appears in the config.log file if the configurator was invoked with the -trace argument. This is not be true if the configuration is done during installation |
CONFIRM ORACLE PASSWORD FOR DCO ADMIN ACCT: |
Confirm password for DCO account: The same password as entered for the DCO administrative account. |
ORACLE CONNECT STRING: |
Oracle connect string: The entry for the Oracle instance of the tnsnames.ora file. |
ENTER LOCATION OF TNSNAMES.ORA FILE: |
Location of the tnsnames.ora file: Full path (including filename) of the existing tnsnames.ora file – usually located in the network admin directory under the ORACLE_HOME directory. The tnsnames.ora identified must be accessible to this machine. If the file is not available, then it must be copied on to a local drive before configuring DirectConnect for Oracle. DirectConnect copies the existing tnsnames.ora into its directory. |
CREATE A WINDOWS SERVICE: |
Add a service: Select whether you are going to create DCO as a service on Windows. Sybase recommends that DirectConnect for Oracle be set up as a service on Windows. |

Service Name: The name to be used for the Windows service. |
