The -as switch ensures that each ST Transaction Control Number within a GS to GE group is greater than the previous ST Transaction Control Number.

Steps Validating ST control numbers in Windows

  1. Open the Run Inbound Map window.

  2. Click the Option 2 tab.

  3. In the Transaction Control Number Check group, select Increasing Control Numbers.
