Data pipelines

In InfoMaker, you use the Data Pipeline painter to create and execute data pipeline definitions to pipe data from one or more source tables to a new or existing destination table.

Here is a sample data pipeline:

The sample shows the data pipeline painter with the table employee _ copy displayed. At top is the Key field with employee _ x displayed, the Option shown as Create - Add Table, Max Errors and Commit set to 100, and the Extended Attributes check box cleared. At bottom is a scrollable region showing five rows of data arranged in the following columns: Source Name, Source Type, Destination Name, Type, check boxes for Key, Width, D e c, check boxes for Nulls, Initial Value, and Default Value.
