If you are updating from a previous version of PowerBuilder Enterprise, you must have PowerBuilder Enterprise 10.0.x, 10.2.x, or 10.5.x installed on your computer if you have purchased the standard PowerBuilder Enterprise Update license, or PowerBuilder 6.5, 7.0.x, 8.0.x, or 9.0.x if you have purchased the PowerBuilder Enterprise Update from Older Versions license.
If none of these products is installed on your computer, the setup program prompts you to insert the CD for one of the older versions for which your update is licensed into your DVD-ROM drive for validation before proceeding with the installation.
After validating the CD, the setup program prompts you to reinsert the PowerBuilder 11.0 DVD into your DVD-ROM drive.
In general, you can run the setup program to install the products in this set over existing versions of those products, or you can make disk space available by uninstalling older versions before running the setup program.
