This chapter describes the tasks that the PSO must complete to set up the Enterprise Security services.
If you plan to use PKI certificates
for authentication and security, you must establish your security
policy, install the proper hardware and software, and validate the
issuance and acquisition of user certificates before you configure
the Enterprise Security components. Before you proceed with the
installation, Sybase recommends that you follow the advice of the PKI vendor and a Sybase Professional
Services representative to ensure that any existing LDAP products support your PKI certificate management plans.
