Starting and stopping Adaptive Server Anywhere

  1. To start Adaptive Server Anywhere, go to $SYBASE/ASA, and enter: 

    portaldatabase.sh

  2. To stop Adaptive Server Anywhere, go to $SYBASE/ASA, and enter: 

    stopdatabase.sh
