If you have a demo installation, you must start and
stop Adaptive Server Anywhere by using the startdb.bat and stopdatabase.bat scripts located
in the Enterprise Portal installation directory.
From Start | Settings | Control Panel | Administrative Tools | Services, select Adaptive Server Anywhere – ASAPortal from the list of services.
From the Action menu, select Start | Stop.
