The Studio Installer installs the Adaptive Server and related files on to the hard drive. The installation process allows you to install one or more of the following Sybase servers:
Adaptive Server
Backup Server
Monitor Server
The basic process for installing Sybase servers is:
Perform the pre-installation tasks as described in “Pre-installation tasks”.
Perform the installation using any of the methods described in “Installation methods”.
Perform the post-installation tasks as described in Chapter 5, “Post-Installation Tasks.”
