Before you can use the Sybase Central monitoring features, you need to install the Java Runtime Environment (JRE):
Go to %SYBASE%\ASEP_win32.
Double-click the file jdk1_1_8-win.exe and follow the installation instructions.
Restart your computer after you install the JRE.
