The category tree allows you to view and organize categories in a tree structure. The categories are listed in the alphabetical order on the category tree. You can rearrange the category tree to add a selected category as a child category of another category.
To view the category tree, click Tree from the Categories page. The Category Tree Admin page appears and displays the categories in the tree view.
Organizing categories within the tree
From the Categories page, click Tree. The Category Tree Admin page appears.
On the category tree, click the category you want to rearrange.
Click Move to. The Select Parent Category page appears.
Click the category on the category tree to which you want to add the selected category as a child.
Click Submit. Sybase Search adds the selected category as a child and returns you to the Category Tree Admin page.
Resetting the category tree
From the Category Tree Admin page, click Reset. The Sybase Search prompts you to confirm whether you want to reset.
Click OK. Sybase Search resets the category tree to the default view where the categories are listed alphabetically.
