You can install Sybase Search Content Adapter in one of the following modes:
GUI mode – the Sybase Search Content Adapter is installed through a graphical user interface. This is the default installation mode and Sybase recommends you to install the Sybase Search Content Adapter in this mode. For more information, see “Installing in GUI mode”.
Console mode – the Sybase Search Content Adapter is installed through a command line interface. For more information, see “Installing in console mode”.
