The command set traceon [traceflag] will turn on specific trace flags in the program. The trace flags are described in the configuration section of the previous chapter. Following is a list of available traceflags:

Connect/disconnect/attention
Language event logging
RPC event logging
Cursor event logging
Dynamic event logging
Bulk event logging
DBMS message logging
RDBMS interaction logging
Dump login record
Trace done packets
Force exit on shutdown
Trace XA (ASTC, DTM) RPCs
Enable XA LIB tracing. The output is written to $SYBASE/$SYBASE_DCO/rdbms/xa_servicenameDate.trc
