LTMs log in to SQL Server to read the transaction log by using either the “sa” login name or the “dbo” role, depending on the values you supply when you use rs_init. If you change the password for the “sa” login name or the “dbo” role, you must also change it in the LTM configuration file. Be sure to shut down and restart the LTM so that the new values can take effect.
