Once a publication has been validated, you can create subscriptions against it. When you create a publication subscription, Replication Server creates a subscription for each article in the publication.

Publication subscriptions and article subscriptions specify the publication, the primary and replicate databases, and the materialization method. They do not contain where clauses. To specify a subset of rows to be replicated, include where clauses in the article description. Refer to “Specifying a where clause with the create article command”.
