Before installation, verify the machine where you are installing Enterprise Portal has a valid host name and domain. You should know the domain name of the machine where you are installing Enterprise Portal. This information is required during the installation. To find your host name, contact your system administrator, or at a command prompt, enter:
hostname
To find the domain name, enter:
domainname
If nothing is returned when you run these commands, your machine does not have a host name or domain name set. Contact your system administrator.
