After deploying the portlets to EAServer, follow these procedures to configure the portlets.
Updating the portlets.cfg file
Go to $JAGUAR/Repository/WebApplication/AutonomyPortlets/WEB-INF.
Use a text editor to open portlets.cfg and update the UserHost, CategoryHost, and QueryHost parameters to the host name or IP address of the host on which the servers are running. Update UserPort, CategoryPort, and QueryPort to match the Autonomy content infrastructure (ACI) port numbers in the <Install_Dir/Ports.txt> file.
The Ports.txt file contains all of the Autonomy port parameter values used when installing the Autonomy servers. See the Autonomy documentation included in the Search/Docs directory on the installation CD.
Values prefixed with “User” refer to the NORE partition, “Category” to the LAUNE partition, and “Query” to the SUIR partition.
When running in Enterprise Portal, the SUIR partition
becomes “Engine.”
Updating the web.xml file
Start Jaguar Manager. See “Starting Jaguar Manager”.
Click Jaguar Manager, and select Servers | Jaguar | Installed Web Application.
Right-click AutonomyPortlets, and click Web Application Properties.
Click Context Params, and change the CfgFilePath value to the absolute location of portlets.cfg.
