Preparing to Configure EAServer

Before you configure EAServer, verify that you have completed the following:

• Installation of EAServer 5.3 Advanced Edition with 2-Phase Commit.

• Installation of the appropriate EAServer EBF.

  Table 4-1: EAServer EBFs

  Platform	EBF
  Windows	13536
  Solaris	13537

• Installation of the EAServer System Management option.

• Shutdown all Sybase products.
