You can “convert” an existing Replication Server warm standby application for ASE, with existing primary (active) and standby databases, to a Mirror Activator system by:
Implementing a disk replication system to provide synchronous replication of the primary database log devices to mirror log devices at a remote (standby) site, and
Replacing the ASE RepAgent thread in the primary database with the Mirror Activator.
