Sybase provides an uninstaller for cleanly removing Unwired Accelerator from Linux on POWER. Do not remove Unwired Accelerator by deleting the installation directory and reinstalling Unwired Accelerator.
If you have problems reinstalling Unwired Accelerator, you may need to remove the vpd.properties file. However, deleting the vpd.properties is a last resort and not recommended, since you will lose all information about any previous InstallShield installations performed on the machine.
Workaround:
Uninstall Unwired Accelerator again using instructions in the Unwired Accelerator Installation Guide.
Remove the vpd.properties file located in:
~<user id>/InstallShield/Universal/common/Gen1/_vpddb
Try the installation again using instructions in the Unwired Accelerator Installation Guide.
