Starting and stopping the system

This section describes how to start and stop the Adaptive Server Enterprise database and the Tomcat application server.

Stop the applications in this order:

  1. Application server (Tomcat)

  2. Database (ASE)

Start the applications in this order:

  1. Database (ASE)

  2. Application server (Tomcat)
