WorkSpace provides two sample projects—SybStore_Sample and SybStore_Web_Sample. The instructions in this chapter explain how to explore Sybase WorkSpace, how to run both sample projects, and how to explore sample project services and artifacts.
To explore WorkSpace and run the sample applications,
you must have completed all of the procedures in Chapter 2, “SybStore Samples Download, Installation, and Setup.”
When you use the SybStore_Sample, you can run the front-end sample applications, some of which are designed to run on a mobile device, or you can explore the back-end services and models that make up the applications.
Alternatively, you can deploy and test the applications’ back-end services individually. This is a quick way to view the services in action that does not require you to run the mobile applications. See “Deploying and executing services” for more information on each service.
