Sybase WorkSpace includes sample projects, provided as an adjunct to the WorkSpace tutorials, that you can run as complete working applications or as components. There are two types of WorkSpace samples:
End-to-end SybStore_Sample – based on a sample application named SybStore, these samples demonstrate the complete development of a service-oriented inventory application, and the development of a JavaServer Faces (JSF)-based Web application.
Component-based samples – focus on using key component features, such as Adaptive Server® Enterprise triggers and stored procedures, and Web Application Development tooling.
This guide provides instructions for installing, exploring, and running the end-to-end SybStore_Sample.

For instructions on downloading and using the Sybase WorkSpace tutorials, select Help|Tutorials from the WorkSpace main menu.
You can refer to the SybStore_Sample at any time—instead of doing a tutorial, before you start a tutorial, while you are working through a tutorial to compare a resource that you create with a prebuilt resource, or after you complete a tutorial to compare your results with the sample or to view the equivalent of a completed tutorial’s execution.
In addition to running the sample applications, you can also explore Sybase WorkSpace, explore the sample’s artifacts, and view, deploy, or test SybStore services.
