If you purchased DataDirect Technologies drivers from Sybase, you first install the driver files onto a Windows PC, then transfer them to the UNIX server, where you can configure them.

Even if you installed the DataDirect Technologies drivers
for an earlier release of EC Gateway, you must reinstall them for
this release because of password branding changes. When you reinstall
the DataDirect drivers, you do not need to uninstall the older DataDirect
drivers first. If you purchased the DataDirect drivers from DataDirect,
reinstalling the drivers is not necessary.
