The Create Flow function can automatically generate inbound map flow in most cases, using ECMap’s inherent knowledge of the EDI standards and additional information that you supply. Along with the map flow, Create Flow creates and assigns rules, and defines level numbers based on the map segment information and the element-to-field mapping. You may need to make some adjustments to the flow after it is created.
Automatically creating
inbound map flow
Select Build>Map Flow.
The Inbound Map Flow window displays.
Select File>Create Flow.
The map flow is generated and displayed.
