On the Any-to-Any Map window, you can map one of the following to a field in an output application record:
Field in an input application record.
System variable.
Memory variable.
When you map fields that are different data types, ECMap automatically makes the conversion for you. When a DI (Decimal Implicit) field is mapped, ECMap first converts the field to a DE (Decimal Explicit) before performing mapping activities.
