Fix Update does not correct changes on the server when failure is based on a consistency check

[CR #439094] If you have the same application on two different offline BlackBerry devices and update the same record on both devices but use two different values—therefore causing the two applications to no longer match—when you refresh the applications from both devices, the server performs a consistency check that accepts the change from only one device, and rejects the other.

If you then apply the Fix Update command on your failed device to send your changes back to the server, the attempt again fails because Fix Update does not allow you to update the server.

Workaround:

  1. Refresh the application.

  2. Enter the updated columns.

  3. Perform Send Update.
