If you use a version of Replication Server prior to version 12.5:
DB2 VARCHAR, VARCHAR FOR BIT DATA, VARGRAPHIC, and the LONG variants of those dataypes that contain more than 255 bytes will be truncated to 255 bytes.
DB2 GRAPHIC, LONG VARGRAPHIC, and VARGRAPHIC multi-byte character dataypes will be replicated as char or varchar single-byte datatypes.
