Chapter 3 Building a requirements model
Once you have defined requirements, you can allocate them to users and groups. This can be done individually for any requirement (See User Allocations page of a requirement property sheet), or globally using user allocation matrix views.
User allocation matrix views are grids which display the links between requirements (in rows) and users or groups (in columns) who must meet these requirements during a development process.
Note: User allocation matrix views work identically to traceability matrix views, without the traceability matrix type option.
Example of a user allocation matrix view:
The Current cell properties group box displays the type of user allocation.
You can also add or remove user allocations with the tool in the upper left corner of the Current cell properties group box. (See Creating a user allocation and Deleting a user allocation)
You can create as many user allocation matrix views as you want, by selecting or filtering rows and columns.
